Welcome

The Contemporary Algebraic Geometry—International Workshop in Guangzhou 2026 will be held at the School of Mathematics, Sun Yat-sen University, from December 1 to 5, 2026. The workshop brings together researchers in algebraic and complex geometry, with an emphasis on projective geometry, birational geometry, and derived categories, as well as their interactions. It provides a forum for sharing recent developments, exchanging ideas, and encouraging collaboration.

From Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Metro. Take Line 3 towards Panyu Square (番禺广场) to Kecun (客村站) Station. Change to Line 8 towards Jiaoxin (滘心) and get off at Sun Yat-sen University (中大) Station. Enter the South Gate of South Campus.

Taxi or ride-hailing. Direct to SYSU South Campus (South Gate or North Gate), about 50–70 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Guangzhou South Railway Station

Metro. Take Line 2 towards Jiahewanggang (嘉禾望岗) to Changgang (昌岗). Change to Line 8 towards Wanshengwei (万胜围) and get off at Sun Yat-sen University (中大) Station. Enter the South Gate of South Campus.

Taxi or ride-hailing. Direct to SYSU South Campus (South Gate or North Gate), about 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic.
